Project Description

Built by Turner Construction who commissioned COBie experts, Captures IT, to deliver an integrated 3D FM database. They had tried to implement two leading solutions, first Ecodomus and later, YouBIM.
They approached us when that failed and we have just delivered a full and interactive Asset Information Model with a validated COBie export. The hospital will now use ActivePlan as their Asset Information Model and Infor to manage maintenance.

The project, located adjacent to the FDR between 73rd and 74th streets, features two towers, one for each institution and totalling over 1 million square feet. The project is designed to achieve LEED Silver Certification.
ActivePlan’s AIM platform includes:
BRE Templater (the technology solution that supports the CPA’s LEXiCON collaboration)
Active AIR – Asset Information Requirements
Active Validator – automatically checks these requirements are being delivered
Active Product Library – standardized project-specific libraries for easy access and updating.
Active COBie – allows multiple COBie files to be integrated, viewed, validated and generated
Active Assurance – cloud-based document store and management
API Integration – with Autodesk Revit and Forge
